This book was first printed in 1981 and sold for $3.50. It was reprinted and delivered to us 10/27/03 and some still have the $3.50 price printed on the inside cover. We have a limited number of copies available at this time.
This book is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" soft cover, with 44 pages plus covers. It is a collection of poems written over a period of 50 years by Slim McNaught and his mother, Troy McNaught Westby (she started writing poetry in 8th grade, about 1929). This is not necessarily cowboy poetry in the modern sense, as is some of Slim's other works in that area, but written with a ranch background by a working ranch family and influenced by everyday life in those times and that setting.
